The Nunnery, with several churches in the revelation place of the Mary the Virgin in the St Mountain. The Pühtitsa (Kuremäe) Orthodox Nunnery was established in 1892 by Governor Sergei Shakhovsky and he is also buried in the territory of the Nunnery. The wooden church dedicated to Radonezh Sergius denotes his grave.
